He asked for a 6" something or other. When it was my turn I asked for a 12" sandwich with wheat bread and blah blah blah. The girl behind the counter answered, "Sorry we don't have that". 

I tried again thinking that she didn't understand me... I want a 12" wheat. "We don't have that". Okay, make it a 12" white. "Sir, we don't have that.

At the time I am looking at the bread rolls and wondering what she was talking about. When I tried to order again she said (and I am glad I had a witness), "Sir, all we have is foot long and 6" sandwiches..... we don't have 12" sandwiches". 

After a few seconds of my coworker and I looking at each other dumbfounded, I apologized for my mistake and ordered the 12" wheat.

But they are not the only party that can claim diversity.

Many of the votes they get that get minority candidates elected are because they successfully sell the idea that the Republicans don't care about minorities...hogwash.

Then the Democrats turn around and implement liberal progressive policies that are destructive to people, cities, states and will eventually destroy this country...and many of the minorities are victims of these policies.

Not my opinion, fact...just look at any city/state that has been ruled by Dems for a length of time and you'll see the proof.

I agree 100%  I think maybe minorities should look elsewhere but me as a young black male I don't feel like they deserve my vote with Donald trump post about blacks and romney 47% comments  going unchallenged by fellow Republicans it doesn't seem like they're even attempting to win us over. only candidate who tried was Rand Paul speaking at HBCU's goes a long way. Its not fair what the media and left do to paint the right as a party of white males but the GOP makes it so easy.

For some reason, I remember the phrase "Party of Diversity" originally being, not only race and sex, but primarily thought/ideas/opinions.  That the Democratic Party was open to all ideology.  Of course now they are as open to change as Putin is.  You lock step with the Party or else.  Maybe I just have a faulty memory?

How could any American like a socialist candidate?  Why don't ppl realize we are a democratic nation?  I know Yobammy had pushed us toward socialism for 8 years, but we have got to reverse that course.  Sanders should not even be close to beating Hillary,  but as I said, the Dems must hate her.  We absolutely can't stand for Sanders to win this election.

Sanders has the same appeal to people as Trump. The details do not matter. They love the outspokenness of them and view their words with rose colored glasses.

It matters little of what they say but how they say it. Although they generally say opposite opinions during the campaign, it would not surprise me if Trump or Sanders don't get the nomination that the supporters of either switched to the other guy. That would mean that a person would support two people of completely opposite opinions simply because of the way they say it.

And that's what fascinates me.  I'd love to get 100 Sanders backers and have them write down the definition of Socialism.  And my only appeal to Trump, that he ignores the PC Police.  For me, not enough, but for many that's all it takes.

My thought process is whoever lives in the white house 2016. won't get much done the way D.C. is set up. So no matter how right or far left. not much they will get done. Just bragging rights for the parties. One thing I no for certain is whoever takes the white house. R or D the other side will do whatever it takes to make the president look bad. and that's American politics.

All the emphasis seems to be on who is president. I think congress is where the voter's heart is. Look how many dem seats were lost last election. The one thing that is bothering me is that now, a president can supposedly write an executive order and somehow the scotus can enact it into law. They are not the legislative body. This totally baffles me.

It would behoove us to keep a republican house and vote in a republican senate. A republican president would be icing on the cake but I don't have a clue who would be best.

God have mercy on our souls should the Hillary become president.

Based on the Founding Fathers concept of Govt, I agree with you LRF.  But as BD pointed out in his post above, this Administration just bypasses Congress with Executive Orders (Royal Decrees).  I know it's been done before, but not to this extent that I know of.  It's a scary, slippery slope.  And SCOTUS goes with him.

IMO, for the long term of our country, the most important matter for our new President is what kind of justices will be put on the S. Court.  Praise God Obama hasn't had the chance to fill it with Super Left Wing Fanatics.  That's the big thing that worries me about Trump.  Maybe at least he'd put moderates, if there is such a thing.  Justice Kennedy might be the last of the Mohicans, and is one of the most powerful men in the country.  Again, jmo, but for SCOTUS appointees, Cruz wins hands down.  If Bernie or Hillary are elected, the fat lady can sing.
