No shootout? District games don't end in a tie, they go to 2, 10 min overtimes, and if not winner there they go to a shootout.

Each district is free to decide their own tie breakers. This year both the boys and girls for 22-5A decided no over time. The 20-4A district, at least for boys, has overtime with a shootout if still tied. Not sure about the girls. Also not sure about the 6A teams.

If still tied after two 10 minute periods it remains a tie, but PKs will be used as goals for and goals against.

Ah okay. They have changed the rules a couple of times since I played , and didn't realize they went to this format
