UIL must think everyone just fell off the turnip truck. I understand having to keep ISD's in the same district, but at what cost to other schools that don't have multiple schools. There had to have been a better solution for WB.

Lets look at the districts past history.Big Dog has been The Woodlands Highlanders who lost 2015 area rd to Austin Westlake, before that=won bi-dist 2013-12-11-09-08.Resume no greater than North Shore.Woodlands College Park  has 0 bi-dist trophies,Conroe Oak Ridge 2002 4a Qtr final winner,Conroe Tigers last bi-dist title 1999.Former 4a/5a foes Lufkin/Montgomery trophy resume isn't consistantly great recently.WB will be a player I think.Uil is not gonna negotiate so get em Bruins

I agree with liltex.  The travel...well...sucks and will suck even more so the farther the Bruins advance in the playoffs. But the path to the playoffs will be no more difficult

The UIL has a a difficult job and there is no way to make everybody happy. I'm sure all scenarios were explored and this is the only way they could get the numbers right and balance the districts.

But as far as competition, this is a good deal for West Brook. I can see the Bruins competing for a District Championship and making a deep run.

Agreed, referring more to the news. Also an issue not discussed thus far is, What about the Freshman, JV games during the week?

That's going to be a killer. I know sometimes, if Varsity is away then underclass will be at home.
