Team Game
Leadership and tradition. Like the video showed, the players from 1991 have gone on to be successful off the court. Watching this video reminded me of how several of these men gave back to the community by being part of HJ after that season. Coach Sutherland came back as a Head Coach, Dr. Harrison was a Principal and Assistant Superintendent, Dr. Nolte coached before becoming Principal at HJ, Coach Davis came back as an Assistant Coach and is now leading the Hawks, and Dr. Holmes is currently the Superintendent at HJ. Not to mention that Dr. Isabell is a main supporter of the HJ Marathon. Many others on this team have gone on to be successful as well, just thought it was interesting how many came back and helped with the development of the program and school. exsoftballplayer and 5GallonBucket
BLUEDOVE3
Fun to watch. Who was the ball hog? I think his number was #13. I bet his daddy told him to jack up everything
whsalum
Quote Joub was fun to watch in those days as a defender. He flat out played the "D" like it was supposed to be played.
ST413
Great story but I did see some emotions being shown on the court! DXTR
Dick Vitale
Great story. I wonder why there are none about the 4A Champions from that same year, from this very area, Port Arthur Lincoln? I guess they could not be located for a feature story...I guess. BLUEDOVE3
