Yes.   He was very highly regarded amongst A&M fans.  Those Sherman offensive lines y'all always dog Sumlin for were his.  JFF's Heisman year offensive line is all playing in the NFL right now.  I would be happy to get back to half of that.

I never dogged Sumlin about Sherman's linemen.

He has ties to SEC country.  From what I've read he was Miss State's best recruiter and they weren't happy to lose him.  Sumlin has done well putting together a staff this go round.
