Am I the only one that finds this disturbing,?  Especially following on the heels of the Ebola outbreak recently.  Is it cyclical, biblical, research gone amuck, super bugs, or some of it testing by terrorists to find the best way to spread some deadly disease (sounds crazy, but I'm not discounting anything now)?  

I have more theories, but I'm interested to see what y'all think.

Amos 4: 6 - 13

⁶ “I gave you cleanness of teeth in all your cities,
    and lack of bread in all your places,
yet you did not return to me,”
declares the Lord.

⁷ “I also withheld the rain from you
    when there were yet three months to the harvest;
I would send rain on one city,
    and send no rain on another city;
one field would have rain,
    and the field on which it did not rain would wither;

    and I made the stench of your camp go up into your nostrils;
yet you did not return to me,”
declares the Lord.

¹¹ “I overthrew some of you,
    as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah,
    and you were as a brand plucked out of the burning;
yet you did not return to me,”
declares the Lord.

¹² “Therefore thus I will do to you, O Israel;
    because I will do this to you,
    prepare to meet your God, O Israel!”

Have seen several documentaries on Revelations and biblical is very high on my list.  if you're a Christian or a Jew, you have to think it's a possibility.

Cyclical. 

Toss in world travel, particular from third world countries and mass migrations. You can add insult to injury by 24 hour media that sensationalizes a story. There are almost 100 million cases of Dengue Fever each year from almost 400 million infections according to Webmd. Get over 200 in the USA on a tropical island and it is made to seem like the Second Coming is at hand.

I have  stated several times that I believe the end of mankind as we know it, will be to micro-organisms. We are just one antibiotic away from not treating pneumonia, which was the number one killer in early 1900s. I found this to be an intersting read. Give it a look.....
