Rice & TCU both played their 25th game tonight.  It was both of their first times to play a game outside of the state of Texas this season.

A&M's starting pitchers went 1.1, 2, & 3 innings respectively in the 3 games.  It's pretty tough to win games that way.

Huskers get Series win over Illinois 2-1.  Pitching was rough but we came back to win both games.

Rice beat A&M 4-3 tonight.  A&M has now lost 4 straight games since being named #1 in the country.

A&M CC beats Texas 5-0.  Texas is now 12-17 on the season.  They will have to win the conference tourney again if they want to sniff the postseason.

A&M is still ranked #2 in the polls behind Florida with 10 games left.

 

Remaining series against #5 Vandy, #7 South Carolina, & #10 Ole Miss.  Pretty brutal finish to the SEC schedule.  A 5-4 record in those games would be an accomplishment and should lock up a national seed.
