UCLA wins 6-3 to take 2 of 3 from Texas.  Texas is now 7-9 on the season.

 

Texas travels to A&M Tuesday then has a home series against Tulane this weekend.

A&M and Texas both got rained out last night and will play double headers today.  

 

Ags never started.  Texas will pick up game 1 tied at 1 in the 2nd.

6 of those 7 losses are to ranked teams. 7th loss was to Ags....another ranked team. You should post these facts since SOS is everything, not the win/loss against pansies.

They will only play 1 ranked team the rest of the season so that should help.

Good, then maybe our win/loss record will improve so that we look like a powerhouse. Lol

I am tired of small ball. Every time we have a runner on 1st with no outs, i don't believe in ALWAYS bunting him to 2nd.

That's how Augie plays.   When they changed the bats it worked well. They changed the ball to make it more live last year and Augie hasn't adjusted.

A&M wins game 1 12-8 against Auburn to move to 1-0 in SEC play.  Next game in 30 min

 

Tulane beats Texas 3-2 in the first game of a double header.  Game 2 at 6

Texas won game 2 by a score of 10-3

 

Ags lost 9-7 to Auburn in the 2nd game.  A&M pitching had a rough day allowing 17 runs in the 2 games.

Ags won game 3 12-10 to win the series and move to 18-2 on the year.

 

Winning the series is great, but the pitching really struggled all weekend.  They will have to get better if they want to make a run.

Tulane beat Texas 5-3 to win the series.  Texas is now 8-12 on the season.  They are in real trouble, with TCU coming to town this weekend to open conference.

#10 Miami won 2 of 3 against #5 Louisville 

#15 Miss St won 2 of 3 against #2 Vandy

Alabama won 2 of 3 against #7 LSU

#16 South Carolina swept #14 Arkansas

Well after getting taken and left behind the woodshed Friday by Wichita St 17-5 the huskers bounce back to take the series  2-1.

Texas beat UTSA 11-2

Next up #6 TCU

 

Both series will be Thursday-Saturday due to Easter.  Big weekend for both teams.

Game 2 tomorrow at 9pm.  Wow that's late.  Gotta love when tv tells you when to play.

A&M and Texas both had big series wins this weekend over top ranked teams each taking 2 of 3.  Texas led today but couldn't hold on for the sweep.  A&M only allowed 2 earned runs this weekend and still managed to drop game 2.  Defense let them down big time in game 2.  

 

Texas gets Lamar on Tuesday then has 3 games at OU over the weekend.  A 4-0 week would definately help their cause.

 

A&M plays at #25 Houston on Tuesday then travels to #1 Florida for the weekend series.  I wouldn't be totally upset with a 2-2 week, but hopefully they can win a few more.
