I told you before, when I saw HJ play in the Gamble Tournament that I thought they were turnover prone...37? Good God! LOL

Not sure about the number of turnovers but I saw the Ozen game.  HJ lost by 25 or so but Saveat sat Boyd, Comeaux, etc the entire 4th quarter.  Ozen feasted on easy baskets, dunks, off turnovers.  And that was with Parquet.  If I recall, he has the best game for the Hawks in that one.

Going into the season this was the question I had in the matchup with HJ.  Was not sure they had the ball handlers to withstand the pressure. Without probably their best choice last night was proof they didn't.

I've said it earlier in the season and I'll say it again if Silsbee is going to win state with this group it'll be this year or the next. Only thing I see stopping Silsbee is Sigee's ability to only play one way, pressing and trying to run with teams that like to run i.e Wheatley could end up in a loss during the playoff but then again Silsbee goes 10 deep so idk. Mike J being out might hurt as well.....

BTW I would love to see a Silsbee/Ozen playoff warm up game I'd favor Ozen in the match up

I have seen Houston Wheatley play twice this year and Silsbee is the better team not being Bias. If they meet up I think Silsbee would win by at least 10-12. Wheatley has the same team from last year and plays just like Silsbee. They only go about 7 deep as well.

Mike J is supposed to be back to practice next Wednesday.  The Tigers have played their max number of games, counting WOS, 19 plus 3 tourneys, so we can't play a warm up.

Silsbee's lack of coaching will expose itself in the playoffs. Right now they are getting by on talent alone.

I think this is one of the stupidest post I have ever seen.! ROTFLMAO.  Coach Sigler is for from lacking his coaching. And yes all these young men playing on our Silsbee team ever one"  has lots of Talent. And Talent " wins Championships.

I hope HJ makes it to Regionals. It's hard to see 2 of their top 3 scorers are out hurt.

I hope they don't.  History has shown it is hard to beat a team three times in a season.  The year Silsbee lost to Jasper in the playoffs is an example.  Central last year against Ozen is another.

I said before the season started one of the biggest challenges for Silsbee would be to manage all the depth they have and keep the players happy/engaged.  When coaching, it is not easy to do that and many coaches prefer to be 7 or 8 deep so as not to have that headache.  Sigler has done a masterful job with this IMO.
