Bridge City and PNG will have good seasons.....Runs were scored by both teams when they got to their number 4-5-6 pitchers. Hitting for both teams was a little iffy.....I think BC had 3 hits and PNG had 3 or 4....both teams will have to hit better. XDOG 1 Quote

No runs scored on 4, 5, 6. I think that speaks to the depth of our pitching team and am excited about what they all bring to the mound and will be able to contribute. Areacode337 Posted February 19, 2016 Report Posted February 19, 2016 I think they played 16-18 innings.....For about 8-9 innings it was a good scrimmage....scoring about even..pitching about even......after that Lufkin seemed to have the better 2nd group. Quote
Areacode337 Posted February 19, 2016 Report Posted February 19, 2016 PNG has 3 good pitchers in Leckich, Henry and Vidrine....after that velocity goes down and strikes become an issue...a few sophomore pitchers with good arm strength but can't find the strike zone. PNG won't be able to survive on the sophomores if they can't throw strikes. Quote
