What a game Ozen played without the heart and soul of the team Guard/play-maker Whitney Bernard who was on crutches and ankle in a boot due to an in jury in practice.

Ozen almost lost to Goose Creek Memorial when they started playing not to lose instead of playing to win.  They were fortunate that GCM allowed them to pass the ball around and run off two minutes at the end of the game.

From where I was sittin Ozen had multiple rebound offensive put ups but missed alot of 2nd/3rd/4th shots.Dayton's soph starter (my friend Red's grandaughter)gave Ozen trouble all night offensively/defensively=Mvp tonight

IMO I think Ozen was looking past Dayton. Hopefully the next opponent will do the same. Great team win tonight Lady Broncos.

I disagree. While I wasn't at the game tonight and can't explain why she did what she did in this game, I've seen her get more out of teams in seasons that they were not projected to win the district. Off the top of my head, she's one of the top 3-4 girls basketball coaches in SETX.

Theres more to the story that people out side the school don't know about.  Due to administrative changes and there expectations at Harrison ave. she has been limited on the amount of time she can put in with bball program this whole bball season.  I agree with dBerry.
