I'm expecting a lot of interest, honestly. Last time it was open, it opened about four months too late, and we still got a great coach. Plenty of time to make a great hire. Best football facilities of any 3A school around here, as well as 16 starters returning from a playoff team last year, that included several freshman and sophomore starters. Whoever gets this job could be looking at a gold mine of talent coming up over the next 2-5 years.. Quote

He may very well decide to stay in Woodville and let the mob attack the next sorry sap. The issue for Daingerfield is if Waldie turns it down, there is no way the coordinator in question will accept the job as the third choice. This might get interesting. Quote
