Singleton is gonna get the nod, I bet. But will be on a short leash. I predict AJ taking over pretty quickly. Re-signed Sipp and signed a few more pitchers. I'm thinking we make a pretty good run at it this year.

Looks like Luis V for now, have a Guy named Moran they got from Cosart trade? maybe, not sure but might be a former 1st rounder. Duffy plays corners I think, and possibly the SS from LSU Bregman could learn the position if Correa sticks at SS

 

Regardless, there are options coming.  Hope it all comes together this year

Really stupid on the MLB's part.  Why not have true opening days games at stadiums that are guaranteed to play the game?

Astros win their opening day game over the Yankees 5-3.

Astros experience the inning from Hades. Pulled starter McHugh in the 1st. Yanks up 6-1 going to top of 2nd.

Springer with a GS to make it 6-5 in top of 2nd with 2 outs.

Correa went 4-4 with 2 more HR's and is on pace to hit 243 bombs this year.  The Astros just need to go ahead and pay him now.  He gets more expensive every week.

I have a good time win or lose. Of course I'd rather win. Got lucky on Keuchle pitching. Didn't know the rotation before we bought tickets. Staying at the Westin House hotel across the street.....(think that's the name). Used to be the Inn at the Ballpark or something like that.
