Hers a link to an article written Gabriel Pruett at the end of last years season. It states in the column that, " The Indians gave up a 22-5A best 262.3 yards per game in 2015 through 10 games. The next best team was Beaumont Central, who allowed 290.7 yards per game in the regular season."

There's your total yards per game!

Something wrong with this though. Lumberton was not 8-4 for sure.

We lost to the DC 6 years in a row.  Dogs lost 2 years in a row to a bottom team. It makes no sense.

Like I said, thank GCM or you wouldn't have to a DC to claim. Since you can't actually beat the team who won the DC. :)

GCM had our number, kind of like we got a lotta teams numbers in this district.  Hey, it happens.  But I'll take what we've done, minus those hiccups.  I really think it's because God knows this board couldn't handle Nederland with that district winning streak that would be in tact if not for those two voodoo games.

I'll tell you right now that unless you're getting your stats directly from the coaches themselves that no website in the area compiles accurate stats for anyone. Trust me I know I've been attempting to keep the stats for 22-5A for about 5 years now. Beaumont enterprise used to do decent stats but not lately.

I enjoyed those. Get back to it, your slacking.

Max preps stats are way off hookem14

Well, I found several other articles in the Port Arthur News referencing PN-G having the number one D in district last year in several catogories including points against, total yards against, and #1 against the rush. Just didn't feel like putting links to a bunch of articles up here!

And 9 starters return from that defense for the Jaguars...

PN-G doesn't have that many returning starters. About 5-6 off the top of my head. But they have another 4-5 that were pretty regular contributors.

They healthy??

Well, I counted P. Shultz as one of the 4-5 returning contributors. He's out with an injury. He would have started this year.  N. Vidrine quit football to concentrate on baseball. He was a starter last year but I didn't bother even counting him as one of the returning starters I counted. Beyond that, all healthy on D as far as I know.
