Peppermint Patty Posted February 25, 2016 Report Posted February 25, 2016 The 50th meeting of the Ross S. Sterling Rangers and the Robert E. Lee Ganders will be played on Friday, September 2nd. This is following some changes to the schedule after Livingston was moved into Lee's district. It seems most people in Baytown are happy except former Lee coach Dick Olin. According to the Baytown Sun, Olin thinks Lee should play another 5a school. Quote
BlackShirts5 Posted March 1, 2016 Report Posted March 1, 2016 I almost have to agree. I mean is it even the game any more? Does it mean any thing to these kids. Lee would be better off playing a 5A school and maybe competing. John Blutarsky 1 Quote
John Blutarsky Posted March 1, 2016 Report Posted March 1, 2016 I think the Sterling GCM game will become " The Game" before long. Now that they're in the same classification it means something. It will take some time but eventually both schools will be able to compete for a playoff birth. Then will see Stallworth packed with 16,000+ again. Lee isn't only non competitive but the fans don't turn out at all. Quote
