MPH01 Posted February 25, 2016 Report Posted February 25, 2016 How many think we can see these three teams in San Antonio this year??? Would love to see the trophies come to Kountze, Silsbee, and Beaumont this year!!!! Quote
KHSAlum400 Posted February 25, 2016 Report Posted February 25, 2016 Don't forget about Big Sandy or East Chambers. Quote
winwin Posted February 25, 2016 Report Posted February 25, 2016 I think Silsbee and Big Sandy are the two with the best shots. Everyone else is a long shot Pepper Brooks, bullets13 and HSbballFan 3 Quote
TopDawG52 Posted February 25, 2016 Report Posted February 25, 2016 based on competition i would say best chance to get to state.. 1. Big Sandy 2. Kountze 3. Silsbee 4. Central and ozen Quote
Guest Posted February 25, 2016 Report Posted February 25, 2016 Well, I am on record saying Big Sandy would be the only SETX representative but after seeing Silsbee, I believe its possible they'll make it at minimum to the championship game. Kountze if fully healthy/roster will make a deep run too, but this is a two headed animal. Central and Ozen both will be eliminated in the next couple rounds, imo. Quote

The private schools, both girls and boys team at legacy have a good shot at bringing home the trophy! The boys made it to the final four last year! Maybe this thread is just for public schools Quote

Kountze could do it, though. their record isn't as impressive as in years past, but they played a ridiculous pre-district schedule, and i think it will have prepared them well for the playoffs. i wouldn't be surprised if they advanced to state. winwin 1 Quote

Funny, Legacy Christian Academy basketball team play quality ball over there and have some really talented kids....if the jones kid was to go back to Silsbee I'm willing to bet you he'll be in that starting lineup! They played Big Sandy Close and beat Buna by 15 plus 2 times I know of....they will have a legit chance to win it all in TAAPS that's all I was saying! Of course they couldn't beat top teams in Bmt because they just don't have the numbers ( that many kids to choose from) but they do good with what they have. Quote

I've coached Tre, Taydren and Adam. The would start almost area varsity teams Quote
