The Tigers, 26-5 on the season and champions of district 24-4A, reached this round with a 120-68 bi-district win over Liberty. Meanwhile, the Brahmans, the 3rd place team from District 22-4A, advanced to this round with a 52-49 win over Caldwell. The winner of this game will face the Huffman Hargrave/Houston Sterling winner in the regional quarterfinals.
