Critter Posted March 1, 2016 Report Posted March 1, 2016 This tournament should be a good test for our young Cards.... A lot of quality teams in this one. Quote
John Blutarsky Posted March 1, 2016 Report Posted March 1, 2016 Predictions for pool winners? I'll go with: A - Sterling, B - BH, C - PNG or Deer Park, D - GCM Quote
adminbaberuth Posted March 2, 2016 Author Report Posted March 2, 2016 We know of Carter Henry (PNG/UH) and Ryan Leckich (PNG/Baylor) from Port Neches. For those of us not all familiar with Houston area, who else is on the radar with Sterling, Lee, Barbers Hill, Ball Deer Park, Episcopal, Summer Creek, GGM, Channelview and Langham Creek? RF/P. Are all on the 14 U Bandito Black team. They have another pretty good freshman catcher starting on the jv, but that's my boy so I'm a little biased. Critter and BlackShirts5 2 Quote

Clueless Posted March 2, 2016 Report Posted March 2, 2016 BH Blake Cappadona, Rhett McCall, and Trevor Kitchen have been the hitters so far. Bryan Taylor (Nicholls St), Asa Thompson, Bryce Bonnin, Tyler Cooley, Jace Seymour, and Koby Emerson have been the top pitchers. BH has been playing good team baseball. Hopefully, it continues. Quote

CouchPotato Posted March 3, 2016 Report Posted March 3, 2016 No mention of Langham Creek - went 4 round deep in playoffs each of last 4 seasons. In same district as 6A state champions Cy Ranch. Battle tested every year. Don't sleep on Langham. They have 2 Div 1 commits and 2-3 others pondering offers. Returning at least 4 all district players. Quote
CouchPotato Posted March 3, 2016 Report Posted March 3, 2016 Langham went undefeated in this tournament each of the past two years. Quote
