KHSAlum400 Posted March 4, 2016 Report Posted March 4, 2016 This may be a good defensive battle... I know it was last season but I saw where Frankston lost to #3 Rockdale 62-48 in the Regional Quarterfinal round. Holding that '14-'15 Rockdale squad to that many points was no easy task... Quote
KHSAlum400 Posted March 4, 2016 Report Posted March 4, 2016 Did some more reading.. If you get the big 6'5" guy in foul trouble you'll be fine... Quote
KHSAlum400 Posted March 4, 2016 Report Posted March 4, 2016 This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up TATUM — Frankston and Waskom traded blows for four quarters in Tuesday’s regional quarterfinal as each team took advantage of their strength — a classic battle between size and speed. In the end, it was Frankston’s presence at the rim that decided the outcome. Kendrick Rogers’ putback with 1.4 seconds remaining sent Frankston to a hard-fought 51-50 defeat of No. 14 Waskom in front of a spirited crowd at Eagle Coliseum. The win assured Frankston (24-7) of its first appearance at regionals since 2004. The Indians will play No. 11 East Chambers at 7:30 p.m. Friday from Hewitt Midway High School in the second Class 3A Region III semifinal. Quote

The guy I talked to say that the big kid is streaky with his play. When he wants to play he can be the best player on the court, but when doesn't want to the team is better without him. They said their best player overall is another kid their forward. Also if they are slow pace I doesn't surprise me they kept Rockdale that low of scoring. Quote
