They were good enough to be were they were and tied the game even the announcer said it was a great comeback  they just couldn't finish the job just like ozen could not finish or east chambers or big sandy and even Atascocita despite how you judge how they play they had a chance and did not quit after they lost devin they will learn from this and with the addition of the other 2 outstanding players next year another freshman on varsity the Tigers will be fine.

There was no upset about that. DeSoto was the better team. Atascosita's press played right into DeSoto's hands.

The road might not be as easy but they still will win their district with hj being in the other district now and will probably only have to play yates silsbee will reload with their talent pool being very deep for the next 5 years or longer their are talented kids who left silsbee at young ages whose parents are bringing them back home to play so get use to seeing the Tigers for a long time .

I went to state 3 times and never won a game.  0-3.  Just winning a game at the state tourney is a big accomplishment that should be recognized.

Silsbee took a step that has never been done before they may not play the prettiest brand of basketball but it got them there they could have easily won when they tied the game up but our region shapes up for silsbee to face yates to get to state no disrespect to any other teams but silsbee will be betternext year than they were this year their schedule will be tougher in non district due to the weaker district because of the loss of Hardin Jefferson my tigers did a great job and I am proud of them.

Did buddy say Purdue and the Big 10 are trash? Man get outta here with hat garbage. Purdue will be an elite 8 team this year for sure. Big 10 over the past 10 years is the beat conference for basketball along with the Big 12.
