PlayActionPass Posted March 10, 2016 Report Posted March 10, 2016 Is East Chambers or WOS the best overall athletic program in SETX? Not talking about athletes, talking about quality of all sports and ability to compete at a very high level. Quote
Guest Posted March 10, 2016 Report Posted March 10, 2016 For boys - WOS and EC For girls - Hardin Quote
Tyler Dixson Posted March 10, 2016 Report Posted March 10, 2016 Silsbee for boys as well. Pepper Brooks and BADSANTA 2 Quote
dBerrySports Posted March 11, 2016 Report Posted March 11, 2016 Lumberton girls should be up there IMO Quote
STiger85 Posted March 11, 2016 Report Posted March 11, 2016 The original post stated "best overall athletic program". That's both boys and girls program. Don't separate. In that case, Silsbee has to be in up around the top! Quote
Morris_era Posted March 11, 2016 Report Posted March 11, 2016 This is a debate that can go on and on... Quote

They should be looked at separately in my opinion. Quote
wosfan1992 Posted March 11, 2016 Report Posted March 11, 2016 can't ever debate this because neither school has just a dominance in all sports ever year. Quote
Clueless Posted March 11, 2016 Report Posted March 11, 2016 Actually BH girls dominate this area. Boys I would say WOS or Silsbee. Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted March 11, 2016 Report Posted March 11, 2016 Well, so far this season, Silsbee has won district in every sport. Football, volleyball, boys and girls basketball. Four playoff rounds in football, 2 in volleyball, 3 in girls basketball, state semis (so far) in boys basketball. That's a combined 11 playoff wins this season. Not sure any other local school can match that win total. eagleswoodville#1, Pepper Brooks, L-Train11 and 2 others 5 Quote

eagleswoodville#1 Posted March 11, 2016 Report Posted March 11, 2016 I really don't think there's much of a debate....Silsbee hands down. Lol And no, it's not because I'm now a resident of Smoketown. Quote
Morris_era Posted March 11, 2016 Report Posted March 11, 2016 Are we talking about just this year or year in and year out? Quote
BADSANTA Posted March 11, 2016 Report Posted March 11, 2016 This year and year and year out still hard to beat Silsbee in boys sports combined. Quote
NDOMAKONG Posted March 11, 2016 Report Posted March 11, 2016 Past 5 years or so, Nederland would have to be in the discussion. Would love to see their win/loss %, district championships and playoff wins added up in Football, Basketball, Soccer, Track and Baseball over that period compared to the best in the area. outanup 1 Quote
