Hagar Posted March 12, 2016 Report Posted March 12, 2016 Listened to some of it. Actually liked it. Don't remember them though. I loved rock music until the Beatles came out with Yellow Submarine. I turned to Country Music and missed out on most other types. Most think I'm crazy when I tell them C&W today would have been rock in the early 60's. Don't listen to much of any now, but man when I shower, I can sing George Strait songs better that George Quote
baddog Posted March 12, 2016 Author Report Posted March 12, 2016 When I attended Lamar, we would sit in the Cardinal's Nest in the morning before classes. Some guy, every morning, played "From the Beginning" by Emerson, Lake, and Palmer and he played "Layla" by Derek and the Dominos (Eric Clapton). If you didn't hear those two songs everyday, that guy was not there. I guess that's why that song has stuck with me. Not a bad song at all, but I get sick of any song I hear all the time. Quote
