oldschool2
Here's your big chance...all of you sideline heros out there. I'm sure they would count little dribbler / youth / AAU as coaching experience. Get out there and show us what coaching is about. Coachingfrat
Its people like you with smart remarks like that, but you really have no clue. Legacy has had basketball coaches with more experience then any coach in southeast texas up to this point. With the great spiritual leadership,College prep experience, and extremely high academic standards the kids their get everything they need to succeed after high school. To often this small community has such a "look at me now" attitude towards sports that ultimately our kids suffer because of it. To often our golden triangle athletes get praised for all of their athletic accomplishments in high school but has anyone really taken a look at how many kids walking our streets after a semester of college cause they weren't prepared. How many of our golden triangle athletes are walking around without degrees because of the poor leadership and academics in high school. Its easy to hide behind an anonymous post to say things to belittle a school who graduates 90% of their students from COLLEGE, who truly understands what it means to mentor to young men and women, and who understands who is in charge of us all. Not trying to start a argument here at all but I would really love for you to look at the whole picture and what a person or school is all about. freeze 1914 and jv_coach

I got the impression the Old Coach was making fun of us arm chair coaches and the weekend youth coaches AthleticSupporter - Jock

I was just saying that there are a lot of people on here that claim to know what they're talking about, bash coaches, always have the "should've been" answer. Legacy most likely doesn't require the same things as public schools do as far as employment. So it's out there for the taking. Wow. 6 minutes ago, BLUEDOVE3 said: I got the impression the Old Coach was making fun of us arm chair coaches and the weekend youth coaches Um..that's a negative Ghost Rider. But yes...rest of the statement is correct.
