dadofabulldog
Its all about educational needs and what's the best fit for Jase. He wants the opportunity to play and enjoy his college exsperience. There's over 500 kids a year that transfer from D1 to Div II or NAIA because lack of play. Thanks everyone for the kind words and encouragement. I am very proud of him. I hear ya. Just probably not the thread to comment on. Would be like going to an old buddies wedding and comparing his new wife to an ex...... "damn, what happened to that hot girl you used to date?" Wrong place, wrong time lol. And name 5 seniors from this area playing basketball next year in college. LumRaiderFan

Pumper
Folks, they aren't handing out college basketball scholarships like candy. They are earned with years of hard work. And even the best high school players often don't have a lot of options. Those that are fortunate enough to get some scholarship money and play at the next level deserve our respect, and the congratulations and support from their home area. At least that's my opinion. I'm happy for all of our local kids who get the opportunity. Congratulations, best wishes, and show them what SE Texas can do... TxHoops
They say there's one in every crowd. Only on this site, there's usually more than one. Anyway, back to the intent of the thread...congrats to Jase! This is a rare accomplishment that's well deserved by a great kid who has worked very hard. Awesome you get to continue your basketball journey AND get an education out of it. AthleticSupporter - Jock and winwin
