KFDM COOP Posted February 20, 2007 Report Posted February 20, 2007 Post your 1A player of the year here!
hssportsfan Posted February 20, 2007 Report Posted February 20, 2007 I agree with Lazeek.........Good year Brandon. Good 4 years, thanks.
Roll_Left15 Posted February 20, 2007 Report Posted February 20, 2007 I only got to see Letsinger once...against WO-S, I wish I could've had the chance to see him a couple more times.
yepyep Posted February 20, 2007 Report Posted February 20, 2007 Is this a joke? There shouldnt even be a vote on this. Letsinger is the Player of the Year in 1A. NO questions asked, not even up for debate. Sure their are other fine 1A players in the area, but get real.
hssportsfan Posted February 20, 2007 Report Posted February 20, 2007 I agree with you yepyep, but Caleb is a good ballplayer. Not POY IMO, but a good player.
Guest orangeman Posted February 20, 2007 Report Posted February 20, 2007 I know I'm his coach, but I've had multiple coaches from around the state tell me that Letsinger is arguably the best 1A player in the state, definitely in SE Texas. Congrats to the many other great players in SE Texas.
sportsmom3 Posted February 21, 2007 Report Posted February 21, 2007 well coop LOLfinally decided it was too hard and heated to pick one POY!!!! good decision [move]LETSINGER!!!!!!!!!![/move]
sportsmom3 Posted February 21, 2007 Report Posted February 21, 2007 coop, could have eliminated all the arguing by doing it this way first....everyone on every thread is in agreement...wow.. has this ever happened?? lol..you're the best!!
whsalum Posted February 21, 2007 Report Posted February 21, 2007 Alot of folks haven't seen Caleb Jackson in the past because he had a severe knee injury last year. That's one thing that makes him so impressive this year.Anyone who has ever had a knee knows what it takes to overcome it.This young man can really light it up.Brandon is a great player and deserves all the recognition in the world, but Mr.Jackson is quality player in his own right.Might want to give out 2 in the 1-a level.
aTm5 Posted February 21, 2007 Report Posted February 21, 2007 I will have to go with Letsinger, what a great floor general, he has been known to take over games, when needed. What an unselfish player. Great attitude, great work ethic, great LEADER, just ask his teammates. His numbers speak for themselves. Has been ranked in the top 25 Jr.& Sr. years. Good Luck Brandon and the WH Oilers throughout the playoffs. Play Hard, leave it on the court.1 Goal - 12 Strong - 13 Fans
Guest JCfan Posted February 21, 2007 Report Posted February 21, 2007 I have seen both play this year and I have to say in my opinion Letsinger gets the vote. He is more consistant and does everything great. I believe he is more of a game changer. More dominant night in and night out to where there can be some ups and downs with Jackson although he is very good.By the way, have you all loked at the map? Chireno is in the Deep East Texas area of the piney woods.Letsinger.
CHSOwls24 Posted February 21, 2007 Report Posted February 21, 2007 I am going to have to go with Letsinger on this one
bballchick Posted February 22, 2007 Report Posted February 22, 2007 I've seen Caleb Jackson play. He is an EXTREMELY GOOD player and deserves lots of recognition and acknowledgement. Brandon Letsinger is an EXTREMELY GREAT player. Letsinger gets my vote.

(anyone who has ever had a knee... once again not making fun of anyone just thought that was kinda funny...
whsalum Posted February 22, 2007 Report Posted February 22, 2007 Hawk,If you ever had one blow up on ya,you'd know what I was talking about.Just surprised the young man came back as strong as he did.Good job this year by both kids.
Money431 Posted February 22, 2007 Report Posted February 22, 2007 Caleb is a good player and kid but he can't quiet take over a game like Letsinger can. I think he is still pretty young though. A Jr. if i'm not mistaken. He should be pretty dangerous next year once he has been back for a year and gets used to that knee.Gotta go with Letsinger.
