The 3 biggest surprises that stand out to me is this.

Kountze 5-2 I thought this would be a down year for the lions with the loss of a lot of seniors off last years playoff team.

Warren 3-4  I had the down for the DC but right now they are fighting for a playoff spot

Anahuac 1-6  With what I saw from them last year I thought they were primed for a playoff spot this year

I agree with Javelina...expected way more out of Warren and Anahauc (dark horse)...I felt Kountze had a good nucleus and they have pulled together well. I felt Hardin would be where they are now and Kirbyville would be in the DC hunt for sure. Of course Deweyville (not sure about where their talent pipe stands) and EC (who has younger talent coming) would be at the bottom. Buna was a bit of a wild card for me...I felt they would at least contend for a three or four hole. Friday night is big in Hardin between them and Kountze...may verywell define the two hole and then put the winner in line to challenge for the DC?
