bullets13
Tough draw. Salado is 26-1 on the year, with their only loss coming in a shootout early on.
bullets13
Kilgore is 21-5-2, and Kennedale is 25-2 with a couple of losses to 6A schools that made pretty deep playoff runs.
bullets13
10 hours ago, JasperDAWG said: yes sir u are right about the tough draw but at this point in the season any of the other 3 teams are tough draws. last season our Lady Dawgs went into the state tourney with a perfect 26-0 record with only 2 goals scored against them in the previous 13 games(those being scored in the regional finals by your HJ ladies soccer team). Jasper played Princeton which had the worst record of the four teams (only 4 losses) and had 4 goals scored against them in the 4-3 loss in the first game. Princeton went on to lose to Kennedale in the finals. so while all four teams this year have stellar records for the season they all are 0-0-0 as of now. *** side note for those interested our Lady Dawgs roster has 0 seniors on it. so to go along with these past two stellar seasons the future looks very bright for Bulldog Nation ladies soccer! you're right, there are no easy games left. Our region is pretty weak, but Jasper did a great job with their pre-district schedule getting some tough opponents in, and HJ presented them their first decent challenge in quite awhile, so hopefully they will be ready.
