A game for history books.

Last night Magnolia West played Tomball Memorial. The game lasted 24 innings. Final West 1 Tomball 0. Memorial pitcher had 30 strikeouts and West had about the same. These two teams meet in the Regional semi-finals last year and played extra innings in those games.

Both pitchers pitched complete games.

Great job West.

Yep, it's always cool to hear stories like that. 

I remember reading about a game in California that took 30 innings to play and the winning pitcher had 61 Ks in that game. It took about 300+ pitches for her to do that. The final score was 1-0.

Thats incredible.  I remember last years series that went well past midnight.  That 24 inning game might have also.  Those two teams should know each other quite well.
