AthleticSupporter - Jock Posted April 19, 2016 Report Posted April 19, 2016 Congrats coach and welcome. Hopefully this move provides a spark for all athletic programs at Woodville Quote
Javelina Posted April 19, 2016 Report Posted April 19, 2016 I think it's a good hire. He was at Palastine then took over a bad Yorktown program and turned it into a playoff team over the 3 years he was there. I also believe he was in the running for the HJ job when Dubois was hired by them. Quote
Woodville89 Posted April 20, 2016 Report Posted April 20, 2016 Sounds great , just moves often and we don't want that. Our kids need the same coaches from junior high through high school ! STYMIE 1 Quote

CardinalBacker Posted April 20, 2016 Report Posted April 20, 2016 This guy just tried to rent a house from my buddy up in Woodpile. Â Wouldn't sign a lease, though. Â Quote
eagleswoodville#1 Posted April 20, 2016 Author Report Posted April 20, 2016 HC/AD at Overton ISD and Umholtz ISD. Defensive Coordinator at Palestine, Jasper, and Carthage. HC/AD at Yorktown last three years. Went three rounds deep with a Yorktown program that was awful before he got there. Also has experience as an assistant at Odessa-Permian High School.  Not too bad of a resumé. AthleticSupporter - Jock and Tigers2010 2 Quote

Maybe that he is looking for a house to rent until he can find a good house to buy. Hmmmm. Woodpile....very original. Pepper Brooks 1 Quote

eagleswoodville#1 Posted April 22, 2016 Author Report Posted April 22, 2016 The official title is "Head Football Coach and Boys Athletic Director".  If you don't know the truth, don't post a misconception simply to ruffle some feathers. That is the official title. Pay scale and everything are very competitive throughout the state. Yes, he is just the BOYS Athletic Director. No, that does not take away from the significance of the job at all. It simply provides a better organizational structure for our athletic program to operate under. camsdad 1 Quote
