Indians finished the season by winning 15 of 16 games after a 3-game losing streak. The lone loss was 2-1 against Goose Creek Memorial.

The quality of the Port Neches and Groves youth programs for baseball is the doorstep for these teams that PN-G fields. We by far and away are not the only good program in the area. Nederland is usually up to par in sports and baseball is a sport that Vidor and Lumberton can compete with area teams. Used to have LCM as well who was a decent baseball program.
