I bet they probably wanted the later start after a long night. Not a real senior heavy team, but still a distraction.

My first thot was, why didn't they schedule the Prom at an earlier weekend.  Anyway, good luck to GCM.

There is always some sort of conflict. We have 3 high schools and we try not to all schedule Prom on the same weekend. 

Prom is overrated IMO.

My G'daughter would argue with you lol, but if my G'son had a choice of going to a prom, or playing basketball, hoops would win every time.
