Coach Harding Posted February 21, 2007 Report Posted February 21, 2007 I would like to comment on basketball in a big city v.s. small town USA. I have now coached both and there is a huge difference! Big towns have much less talented players fundamentally! Probably because the players have so many other things they can go do and be involved in! I have been coaching for 11 years and spent most of my time in Kirbyville preparing girls for school ball and I can honestly say they are the best, hardest working players I have ever coached. Their heart is in the game and they truly want to win and do whats right I have coached over 100 players in this town and I will say it has been a blessing to me in my life by being a part of these girls life, in learning the sport I love! I will never forget any of you and that day when I told some of you goodbye in the gym was one of the saddest days in my life!Tell everyone I said "Hey!"Coach Harding ;D
lsu_fan_07 Posted February 26, 2007 Report Posted February 26, 2007 yea no joke!! i cried myself!!! i hated that you couldnt coach us in high school, if you would have then we would have def gone far into the playoffs maybe even won state!!! This is the best coach of my life!!!!
Coach Harding Posted March 1, 2007 Author Report Posted March 1, 2007 Thanks for the nice comments!I only wish I would have spent more time, I think Its been said I focused so much on others that some didnt get enough! Thats what bothers, in my heart I really wanted to teach everyone equally!Send pictures if you have them to [email protected]
