Little Cypress-Mauriceville 5 Jasper 4/LC-M wins series 1-0

The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears continue their Class 4A playoff journey tonight as they take on the Jasper Bulldogs in this Region III quarterfinal!  The Bears reached this semifinal with a 9-7 bi-district win over Huffman Hargrave and followed by a 2-0 area round series sweep of Caldwell (9-4, 7-4) and a 7-2 regional quarterfinal win over Silsbee.  The Bulldogs reached this round with a 5-0 bidistrict win over Henderson followed by a area round series sweep over China Spring (4-3, 7-2) and a 2-1 regional quarterfinal win over Carthage.

The winner of this game will face the winner of the Waco Robinson/Bridge City series which begins tonight.  KOGT's Dan Perrine will be at that game breaking in for regular updates.

They have talked about that.  If they get postponed tomorrow, they will try again at 7 pm on Saturday in Little Cypress.  If that doesn't happen they will try Jasper late night on Saturday,
