stevenash Posted June 3, 2016 Report Posted June 3, 2016 the consensus estimate for May was around 160,000. The official number came out today and it was 38,000. ( The average for the past year has been 190,000 per month). The primary apparatus for job creation in this country is small business (es). Do you lefties believe that raising taxes and increasing the already overly burdensome regulations will help alter this situation? If you do, can I sell you some Arizona Ocean Front Property? If the government pays more people not to work, job creation will slow and the labor force will shrink even as it gets harder for companies to find workers. Cutting tax rates would create the opposite effect, with a larger labor force and more job creation. Quote
Hagar Posted June 4, 2016 Report Posted June 4, 2016 I am Convinced that the Democrats Want as many on welfare as they can get. No humor. No rhetoric. IMO, that's exactly what they want. All you need do is watch what they do. Give raises to those on welfare, many of whom have Never worked, yet fail to increase those on Social Security, most who worked all their lives. Just one little example of how fubar this country has become. Quote
Hagar Posted June 4, 2016 Report Posted June 4, 2016 You know why Democrats like to raise taxes? Because most of them don't pay taxes. All the liberal elitist love to make laws & rules, but for others, not them. And Democrats are above the law. This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up 77 1 Quote
