Folks, if the countdown until the 2016 football season is too slow.  Then you can get your fix this weekend with the Southeast Texas Coaches Association All-Star Game at Provost Umphrey Stadium this Saturday at 7!

West Brook coach Kevin Flanigan will be coaching the West team and Orangefield coach Josh Smalley will be coaching the East Team.  Here are the rosters for this game:

I know it's a east vs worst thing but as far as the basketball game tonight....they might have considered changing that and balancing the teams a little better...

No I honestly don't care who won but one of the objects of these games is to get fans in the seats.  Make the game better than a blow out and it will be more fun for the fans to see.

Congrats to the West who won this game 21-16.  Ozen grad Josh Boyd tallied all 3 scores for the West, 2 through the air and 1 on the ground.  Jasper's Tiger Williams and Silsbee's Dontre Thomas tallied the East touchdowns.

Congrats guys and good luck in whatever meets you in the future.

It was fun watching Hardin's linebackers play the majority of the night next to one another for the WEST.

Hunter Stelly had 10 tackles, 3 sacks and was all over the field. Great way to end the HS career boys.
