Apparently Seriale may be at Yates after all.  But Wheatley's Trevor Moore has announced he will be spending his senior year at South Kent Prep in Connecticut.  That will effectively kill any serious threat they might have posed in the region IMO.

Serials was seen this morning walking to class at JY, Wheatley will definitely miss Trevor Moore this season.

Mitchell Serial has returned to Yates after going to California and having a change of heart. Wheatley will be in a transition mode with losing their best player and bringing in a new coach. I got a glimpse of Silsbee schedule and they will be tested early and often! It will do them good.

If they had been able to get Cam Mack in school (and eligible to play), I would have probably put them as the region favorites.  But having Mitch will obviously be a big boost for the Lions.

It looks like Cameron will indeed be at Victory Prep.  However, Trevor has not been at Wheatley and leaves later this week for South Kent Prep in Connecticut.  Apparently putting Wheatley on his form at the Rucker caused a stir that he had changed plans.

Unrelated, the new Delmar field house is getting closer to being finish.  I'm thinking it should be ready by November.  Once finished it should be one of the premier basketball venues in the region.

Cam Mack has left VPrep and is back in CenTex.  Probably will be back at Aggieland HS.
