Would you rather have a 6' 10" athletic post or a 5' 10"  skilled point guard?

A 6'10 athletic post HANDS DOWN. There are plenty of little ball handlers out there running around. The point guard doesn't have to be very skilled with that type of size. He just needs to feed the big fella. lol

I watched Hudson several times last year. They had a point guard that made that team go. Some of you guys saw the Hudson / Silsbee game at the reg tourney. I believe Hudson had the lead at the half but just ran out of gas. Take him away and add the big post and Silsbee wins by thirty. Maybe the answer is to have both.

Yep. that red headed kid was all over the court last year. It depends on the scenario for me. To build the team, i'll take the 6'10 kid and we'll learn how to get better around him. As somebody else stated, you cant coach that size and if he's "athletic" with it, that's the icing on the cake. Nothing like having a good point guard that controls the offense and is a work horse on defense but that position in my opinion is far easier to "create" than having somebody who could potentially dominate the paint, boards, etc.

Silsbee did end up winning by 20. ;)

Not very knowledgeable about basketball, but from what little I've watched of the pros, I've seen some Tall guys that didn't play well, but virtually no short guys that weren't good.  That Tall must count for something.

    • In a video released Monday, Raja Cholan, a top official at the U.S. National Library of Medicine under the NIH, admitted to an undercover OMG operative he doubts jab efficacy and hasn’t “gotten the latest COVID shots and I’m not going to.”  “I PROBABLY SHOULDN’T BE SAYING THIS OUT LOUD;” Chief Confesses COVID Health Initiatives Were "COMPLETELY MADE UP”. "I don’t even know if these vaccines stop you from getting COVID. They don’t.” Adds, "We're all going to learn [about vaccine safety] when it's too late," as Pfizer & Moderna "are just getting a bunch of money… Vaccines were accelerated through the approval.” ‘We fly under the radar of being scrutinized…I don't think I have too much to worry about.’ Trump victory “worse for the NIH.” “It would be better for a Democrat to be in office.” WOW!!!!
    • The same reason you worry about Trump more than anything else. Why do trolls like yourself start threads like your Soros hedge fund thread and you never come back to…..just bait. Newsom might make a run for president in 2028. People need to know about his policies. You don’t think that’s important?
    • I like Newton’s chances here. I’ve watched  videos of Daingerfield what few I could get. Their big Qb scares me a little he looks Ike a good athlete. I think for a change Newton has a little more speed than the Tigers. That Samuel kid for Newton can move., and it goes without saying about Porter. That Hunter kid ain’t bad either. They scared me to death with their pass defense against Edgewood until I saw the video. That Qb for Edgewood can put it on a dime. And, his receivers could catch it. I’m pumped; this is the most fun time of the year for me. Go Eagles.🦅 I have to add this though. I watched the State game between the tigers and Yoe in 2010. Those guys looked like grown men playing as opposed to kids now a days who look like boys.😂 that was a heck of a good game.
