That's pretty good at the 16u level against national competition. I see why Lamar got their offer in early. I didn't see the stats but I'll look again. Edited June 28, 2016 by BLUEDOVE3 Quote

Phi4:13 Posted June 28, 2016 Report Posted June 28, 2016 You would think so. They play with a shot clock. Also top in scoring and total points. I'm just glad your not the one in charge of giving Quote

Thats a lot of attempts IMO. Shot clock. Like in college. For that reason; college coaches aren't interested in watching keep away basketball. If you are a numbers junkie like me (analytics), the more important number is percentage. He is knocking down 38.5% of his 3s against D1 level competition. You would have to shoot 57.5% from the field in regular baskets to score that efficiently. I say he's not shooting enough Quote
BIG SHOW Posted June 28, 2016 Report Posted June 28, 2016 Didn't realize they have a shot clock, so that makes a little more sense. Quote
BLUEDOVE3 Posted July 25, 2016 Report Posted July 25, 2016 Hmmm, I have an inside connect with a Big 12 school and they asked about Kobe Dill. Stay humble young man and keep working. Heard he had a couple of good games and one fair game (that's to be expected too) during the last live period. But obviously enough to raise some attention, and that's what you want. Quote

By the way, good advice Dove, and advice that will most assuredly be heeded. The kid is constantly working his tail off with his game. And as far as humility, in this day and age where almost every kid tweets about being "blessed" with receiving an offer as soon as they receive one, I don't think Kobe mentioned a word about his most recent one. Humble to his core. Mr. Buddy Garrity and Scatright 2 Quote

BLUEDOVE3 Posted August 1, 2016 Report Posted August 1, 2016 This LOCAL kid is ranked # 1 in 3-point shooting in the Under Armour 16u age bracket , and # 9 in scoring in the UA. Do we have other local kids on the national scene doing their thing. S.E.Texas Proud!! TxHoops 1 Quote
