ST413 Posted July 8, 2016 Report Posted July 8, 2016 The Tigers lose to Kaufman it says in ot by a TD and Kaufman won the tourney. Good job guys just have to work a little harder. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
aTmfan06 Posted July 9, 2016 Author Report Posted July 9, 2016 7 on 7 doesn't mean much at all. Hell Kountze made it like to the semi finals a couple years ago... Still a first round playoffs exit. Quote
WOSgrad Posted July 9, 2016 Report Posted July 9, 2016 7 on 7 CAN be a useful tool. I know that Dontre Thomas benefited from 7 on 7 because if you look at his progression from his junior year (where he was taken out in passing situations) to last year, you could say he and others benefited from that. ST413 Posted July 10, 2016 Report Posted July 10, 2016 I think it can be useful especially for the qb. Helping get timing and vision down as well as helping improve their throwing ability. Is it necessarily a showing of how a team will do in the fall,.... no. Too many added parts in the fall...pads make throwing tougher, pass rushers, receivers getting hit or concerned with it.....etc.. You won't find many teams in our area with the talent that my Tigers have at the skill positions but that still doesn't mean much until you put it all together. I expect good things this fall and this 7 on 7 was just the start. Let's go Tigers!! STiger85 and Mr. Buddy Garrity 2 Quote
