Hagar
Sad day my friends. Going to a funeral for a man, Kenny Keen, who graduated from Vidor in 1987 with my son. They both played tackle on Def, and guard & tackle side by side on offense. He spent many hours in our home. In one of those "small world" scenarios, both were in the Marines, but not stationed together. My son's unit was one of the first flown to Saudi a few days after Iraq invaded Kuwait. Very few arrived ahead of him. But when he disembarked the plane, who did he see on the Tarmac, yep, Kenny was there. Them two Pirates, who'd played side by side, bear hugged each other. This old man will have tears in his eyes today. UTfanatic

Hagar
My sincerest thanks guys. I will tell you one thing. The funeral home was SRO, and had more "men" in there than any place I've been in in a while. Corn fed country boys. Kenny would have been proud.
