In this instance, I agree with you.  She essentially made her statement, and then came back and said to ignore it.  Similar to a judge instructing a jury to ignore something after they have heard it.  The damage has been done.

I'd say 90% intentional, 10% senior moment.  But I never trust them.  And Ginsburg is as anti-Constitution as it gets.
