Basic Righty Premise( will it "offend" like the other?)

A guy looked at my Harley and said I wonder how many people could have been fed for the money that motorcycle cost.  I replied I am not sure, it fed a lot of families in Milwaukee, Wisconsin who built it, it fed the people who make the tires, it fed the people who made the components that went into it, it fed the people in the copper mine who mined the copper for the wires, it fed people in Decatur, Illinois at Caterpillar who make the trucks that haul the copper ore, I guess I really don't know how many people it fed.  This is the difference between capitalism and welfare mentality.  When you buy something, you put money in peoples pockets and give them dignity for their skills.  When you give someone something for nothing ( yes, tobie, free stuff) , you rob them of their dignity and self worth.  Capitalism is freely giving your money in exchange for something of value, Socialism is taking your money against your will and shoving something down your throat that you never asked for.

Im not a reipient of free stuff. If i were a congressman that received tax payer money and refused to vote on a supreme Court  Justice  i woud be. Are a billionaire that loopholed my way out of paying taxes.

I don't care what biden thinks. Is it a law not to vote on a justice in an election year? these crooked congressman refuse to even hold a vote and vote no. If Trump continues to speak without the teleprompter and hillary wins, they'll learn a lesson

No one was accusing you of being a recipient of free stuff.  The story is to educate folks about the advantages of capitalism vs socialism.   To me, there's another lesson in that story.  The initial statement sounds great, but the rest of the story tore it to threads.  Many times I've heard a statement that makes sense, until someone else points out the flaws.  It happens to most all of us.

As for loopholed out of paying taxes,all any of us do is use the laws they write to our advantage and if you dont then your not very smart. Remember the rich (in DC) are writing these laws for their advantage. Simplify the tax laws and problem solved!

Spot on.  If tobie thinks the Clintons don't use the tax laws(loopholes) to their advantage, he is kidding himself.  But I guess they don't because they are good Dems, and they just wouldn't do anything like that.  Yea right!

The Clinton Foundation is a money laundering machine for the donations from foreigners who would like political favors. It's why she is so willing to show her tax returns.....the fortune is clean.

I have already stated that Hillary lies . of course she knows how to play the loophole game, others on this board won't admit that trump lies his arse off and uses every means necessary to not pay taxes. I am limited on what i can do to not pay taxes. I understand that this is a conservative board and anyone that's not conservative shouldn't really be on it. Hillary lies 10 times a day and your candidate lies 8 times a day........Face it, its a possibility we may be looking at President Clinton in november because your candidates open carries and keeps shooting himself in the foot.

I posted about a month ago that Trump has been audited every year for the last 10 years.  I goggled the Clintons and did not find where they had ever been audited.  Does anyone think that's strange besides me?   

If I remember right, when Bill got out of office, they announced they were "broke".  Now there worth over $100 million.  Don't have a business/company.  Guess they hit the lottery.
