This scrimmage has been moved from Friday night at Tiger Stadium to Friday morning, 10am at Thomas Center (Da Butch)

It is now moved to Provost-Umphrey Stadium at Lamar University, Friday at 4pm.

Ok, for the complete schedule, the freshman and JV will start @ 3 and then the varsity @ 4.

Seems to be a theme here about fields not in shape or teams not wanting their field messed up before 1st game of season. With all the rain all the grass fields are going to be in some bad shape if you practice on them during the week as well.

That's never going to happen.

I always thought it should have been named after Jerry Levias or Alex Durley or Willie Ray Smith or a combination of all three. I know West Brook's Stadium is named after Durley and we have an award named after Smith but still think one if not all should have name on that stadium.

That's probably what it's gonna be.  When someone spews stupid stuff based on what someone else told them instead of doing the research themselves, instead of facing the music, they'll typically go into seclusion.... Or wait until someone flies in with their superman cape to try to save the day...

I'm not a fan of Thomas but he has never even been charged with anything. So unless that ever happens, we should limit discussions to relevant Football discussions.  It seems juvenile to keep bitching about the name of the stadium year after year.
