Overall I was very impressed with both sides of the ball.  This was a good scrimmage going against some bigger teams, and we held our own.

I agree.  Evadale was able to open some pretty good sized holes in the middle of both Anahuac and Kelly's lines.  Torres looked very sharp throwing the ball and the defense looked pretty quick and pretty hawkish. 

For Anahuac, they got hit by the turnover bug quite a bit but #22 looked pretty quick and could cause problems for opposing defenses.

Kelly moved the ball decently but seemed also to fall prey to the turnover bug.

I heard our JV got some scrimmage time in.  Also, one of our JV WR got open deep, but had to stop to wait on the ball, but still a nice gain.  That kids a great athlete.  Takes after his G'pa (except in the stomach area lol).

That's the kid who was red shirted.  Glad to hear he's doing good.
