Silsbee92
I expected as much, as far as o-line improvement. Just needed a little live action with a true opponent to bang home the techniques and responsibilities Coach Smith has been hammering. Even a marginal improvement was gonna yield some good results from the skill positions. Will be nice to see some game clock disappearing while Silsbee's O is on the field. Ready for Week 0. Enough of the chit chat. BADSANTA and BMTSoulja1

I thought Silsbee would dominate but their missing something ...Ozen cplaymakershad a chance to pick off that pass kid never turned around. Plus they were too busy trying to get after Tyler that i dont think they were focused. Ozen has a decent line but dang im hoping they blow someone off the line of scrimmage big as they are. QB needs to get on the same page as his receivers. Threw them short ,behind and over. Run blocking needs to improve along with the effort. This isnt for any team in particular but kids these days play too cool, you gotta let it all hang out whatever sport you play. The body language of some these kids is horrible. Both teams got a long way to go. Sislbee a few adjustments here and there Ozen back to the drawing board with some serious evaluation. Kind of the assestment I had ,going to take longer than 3 weeks for the coaches to get Ozen to buy in.For the most part defense done well, having to defend a short field .Offense needs a lot of work, but 2 to 3 weeks from now we should see much more progress.Silsbee need a little more work as well in order to compete with WOS .They do have playmakers have to get them the ball in open space, neither team was very impressive. BADSANTA
I think once the QBS can work outside the pocket, both teams will play better.
STiger85
First off I'd like to offer prayers to the injured tonight. Ozen freshman who was carted off the field by ambulance, Silsbee JV QB (broke clavicle) and Ref who hurt his leg. Ozen offense needs timing and it will be fine, they do have some size on both sides of the ball. Silsbee offense looked better, running the ball and passing as needed. The defense was all around the ball. Now real games start. TigerNation!!! AthleticSupporter - Jock
MBaller#1
I hear Silsbee may be getting more help at the receiver spot other than just tre Lowe coming back.

Been there from the beginning of the summer. Played against Lumberton. Good hands. Decent Speed. Left to be determined how much he goes, though with McCain In/Out its a good possibility. The Icon
Ozen didn't look very good yesterday... Hope that doesn't lull Silsbee into a false sense of security. Morris_era
