SETX Teams playing Louisiana teams

Praying for all the people affected by the floods in Louisiana. Hoping all is ok and any SETX teams that might have to play a Louisiana team

I am willing to bet that Bridge City can pick up a game with some LA team that now has an open week, because of one of their opponents are unable to play due to the horriffic flooding damage.

Actually, I think someone had indicated that BC was close to filling that 10th game with a school out of Lake Charles (La Grange) even before the weather hit.  I haven't heard if they had finalized it, yet.

Use to be a powerhouse (in the Stone Age lol).  No idea now, but probably a good test for the Cards..  Hope it works out.

La Grange is a Class 4A (2nd largest classification in Louisiana) school.  They made the 4A playoffs last year.

 Barbe, Sulphur, DeRidder etc……. Talent majority base in Louisiana is the Baton Rouge area and New Orleans area.

Baton Rouge seem to have a lot of big name players but those NO teams as a whole are scary good.

Only the private schools like Edna Karr, St.Aug or brother Martin,...They may have a few good public schools some years like Frankington or somebody

I'd be all for some kind of SE Texas vs SW Louisiana "Bayou Bowl" involving teams from their respective areas.

Maybe it could be a series type deal that alternates between Lamar and McNeese? Could expose local talent to those schools in the process
