It is football time again for the Newton Eagles as they host the Kirbyville Wildcats in this season opener.  W.T. Johnston's Eagles posted an 8-5 record and garnered yet another district championship.  Meanwhile, Greg Neece's Wildcats posted a 10-2 district mark with a district title to match.
