Welcome to Kronos Korner. this will be MY take on PAM games i attended. Due to i don't like using my phone to type on and i have no access when i'm in PA, i will post what i saw the next day.

SO, lets dive right into it. Please note, when i do this, i have not read ANY threads prior to typing.

First off, i want to give some credit to PCB for coming to Texas with a new coach and new offense...if that team was in texas and was placed in 4a D1, that would be exciting lol.

PAM-the bad. i want to point out on the opening kickoff,i told my friend bigd92 that i didn't like the way our special teams "looked". it seems they were small.

the kicking game needs help BAD. we were blessed all these years with the estupian(sp) brothers. it seemed as though, even in warm ups, the snapper was snapping low and to the outside. that HAS  to be cleaned up. the kicker has to find some darn HEART!! follow through with the kick!! this led to a blocked kicked! also if he doesn't have the leg to kick the ball out of the end zone WITH THE WIND TO HIS BACK and only out to the 30 yard line, they better start pooching it!! against a central or png returner, that could be trouble imo. RETURN MEN NEED TO FOCUS AND STOP TRYING TO RUN WITH OUT THE BALL!!! more on this later. Kadon needs to watch and stop being "scared" at the line. he was creating false starts that the ref wasn't calling.(anyone with better knowledge of the rules, feel free to comment) prior to the snap, he was already moving back. COACHING STAFF!!! THIS WILL BE IN CAPS. THIS IS THE COG THAT WILL CAUSE THIS TALENTED GROUP TO FAIL!!! HINES WAS RUNNING HARD AND DOING HIS THING. ON A 3RD AND 1 YOU FEED HIM AGAIN AS HE WAS PICKING UP 3-4 YARDS. TWO PLAYS IN A ROW YOU CALLED THE NUMBER OF YOUR SLOW QB THAT ENDED UP TURNING OVER ON DOWNS!! AGAIN. WHY ARE WE PASSING INTO THE WIND AND YOUR RB IS EXPLOSIVE!!! THIS ENDED UP BEING A PICK IN THE END ZONE. COACHES NEED TO DO BETTER!!! overall i think the coaches and players UNDERESTIMATED THIS TEAM and was to excited and took them a qtr to settle down. this led to muffed kick returns and bad exchanges from the QB to RB. i like that the defense showed some adjustment by not being so aggressive off the ends. they began to clog up the middle. Ricky Thomas needs to be in the game more. he is a big target that made one hell of a catch on a 3 rd and 20+, but got called back due to lineman up field.

The Good- Ketha Jones showed why he is an athlete(back up qb) at WR. loved his concentration on his catches. angelle wasn't used and neither was vincent on offense. everything was pretty vanilla. Once the team settled down, you can tell they was about to kick up after scoring two quick TD's Kadon did well considering only one half of football was played 4-6-1 for 85 yards. he looked to be a little quicker when running the ball, BUT STILL NOT FAST LOL. shout out to the marching heat for the performance under the stands during the rain delay. oh,i know this won't be a popular decision, but if we were red pants again, lets see the red jerseys...didn't like the combo. hopefully all black returns at home this week. 1-0...

they lost, but atleast most games was respectable and not straight up arse whippins lol

Yeah, we know that cause we actually watched the games, I cant say the same for a few others that like to chime in on Memorial Football. 

 

Where were you and BigD?  I was looking for yall after the Deer Park game.

on the 20 close to the score board we were there for the 4th qtr of deer park.

hopefully, that gave them a taste of whats to come. the students gave everyone something to get excited about.

I liked the black and red combo. Gives the a new identity. Which after the past two seasons, they needed something to give them a spark.

I don't think they are allowed to wear the red jerseys anymore. Something with the UIL and color scheme of the red with red numbers. Don't get me wrong, I like the red uniforms, but the numbers were hard to see with my old eyes

The UIL received lots of complaints about teams wearing jerseys that had the numbers matching the color of the jersey. It was a nightmare for us in the media. I noticed Central's road jersey has maroon numbers now, instead of white with maroon outlines like last year.

Yeah PAM  red jerseys are outlined with black. They were still a nightmare to see from the press box

I really want to see the QB.  I like to how my bro compares to the district competition.   Sadly, it appears I won't be able to do so until we play yall week 8. Maybe I could try to get home to PA on PNG bye and catch a Titans game. Get some Sartins and drop the kid off to his grandma.

2 FOR 1 DEAL lol...got see what was all the pn-g hype and atmosphere was about and got to see a kid that,IMO is  a very good athlete that is not being used correctly (i seen what he can do at RB). so you sitting on central or PAM side for our annual kittens vs Gods game?? lol
