The Newton Eagles continue their 2016 high school football campaign as they travel over to Hardin County to take on the Silsbee Tigers in this Week 2 battle!  Last week, W.T. Johnston's Eagles started out with a bang as they shout out Kirbyville, 27-0.  Meanwhile, Randy Smith's Tigers look to rebound from their 54-27 at the hands of Port Neches-Groves last week.  The last time that the Eagles and Tigers locked up in this series, which Newton leads 7-6, was in 2011 when Silsbee took a 21-20 victory.
