Really enjoyed this game.  EC was undersized compared to the Horns.  The athleticism of the two teams was about even.  EC seemed to have a bit more speed on the corners but rarely was able to get there as Tarkington had good penetration most of the night.   EC had a couple backs that was just has difficult to bring down and Tarkington's were.  This was a bruising game with both teams really giving a great effort.  

Tarkington showed a lot of improvement on both sides of the ball from last week against Splendora.  The Horns are loaded with underclassmen and should only continue to improve as those players get more games under their belts.  

For me the difference this week for Tarkington was the ability to win the line of scrimmage more times than not.  Size made the difference.

I agree. Also, EC needs to clean up penalties. One TD called back, and a big play in OT called back.
